CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Depending on the size of the production, I am happy to take care of everything in advance. Before starting a project or production, it’s all about brainstorming and conception. After an initial meeting, I am happy to offer to develop mood boards that capture the basic idea and the guidelines for the visual language.
LOCATION SCOUTING
Location scouting is one of the most important things as I work mostly only with available light. After I have researched and agreed on the first locations, I plan enough time to take a closer look on location. This includes the light I’m working with and the weather, daytime and lighting times of the relevant locations in advance and plan the upcoming production with the team based on this.
PRODUCTION
Before the start of a project or production, it’s all about brainstorming and conception. After an initial meeting, I like to offer to develop mood boards that capture the basic idea. My goal is to make a production as uncomplicated as possible – with small teams, working with existing light, fast communication channels as well as independent and solution-oriented work of the individual creatives to achieve authentic results.
